Short Hills from Curbside Burgers
Here is the total running route to and from all the hills.
Easy warm up to the bottom of the Steele hill 220s that we typically do.
3 x 220. Jog back after each one
Easy run over to Parker
3 x 220 up Parker Hill toward Reymond. Jog back after each one.
3 x 220 up Parker Hill toward Zeeland Street.
Cool down back to Curbside.
Please think about having a burger and beer at Curbside tonight!

25th Reunion Run/Walk and Parking Lot Breakfast
Come early …HOKA has contributed 50 tech tee shirts and 50 tanks tops for reunion runners. We’ll start distributing shirts at 7:00 a.m.
Nike will be on hand to demo the new Vomero…it’s been a really popular cushion, neutral shoe.

We are heading toward Hundred Oaks with all the road closures on the lakes from City Park
(this is a shortish run for our typical Saturday so some of you may want to run early. Try to get back for 7:25 pic)
Hydration at Country Club and Broussard in front of Webb Park Golf Course.
Stick around for coffee and breakfast treats after.


Magpie Lake Erie Ladder
Warm up to Lake Erie down Ferndale
Cruise pace on intervals 110/220/330/440. Jog a lap. 440/330/220/110. Finish the lap recovery after each.
Cool down back. Fiero is the shorter cool down.

Carefully cross Jefferson to Goodwood Start.
**We won’t start until everyone gets there. So some of you may want to shorten your warm up. Or you faster people can run a lap or so waiting.

Cut Down 220s at Highland School Circle
Warm up the Fat Boy route to the school.
8 X 220 cut down meaning each one is faster than the one before it. A 4 x220 you can take a one loop easy. Then second 4 x 220 continues the cutdown from the first set.
Cool down back.

6 or 8 Mile Run from Starbucks LSU
***OK this might be a tricky one…I got an email saying the stretch of Dalrymple under the interstate is closed to pedestrian traffic. But The Advocate says it’s “night closures”. So hopefully the pedestrian paths are open there in the morning.
Steady Run.
We had to modify since May St. closed. It’s is essentially an out to water stop and back a little different way.
Hydration at Cedardale and the lakes.
Susan’s cold rags will be at the City Park oaks. You may want to put your own extra water there, as well.
If it’s hot, you may want to leave a little something at City Park oak.

Easy Beer Run from Tap 65
It’s time for an easy run and a beer.
Come early if you want to get a few miles before the 4 miler.
Don’t forget the bike path is closed so we have to go down Westdale which can be a little busy. Be careful.
I may not make it there on time as I have a 4:00 meeting. Start without me if I am not there.


French Truck Coffee Run
8.5 Mile run with 5 Mile option
8.5 Mile(5 Miles follows the route but goes straight up Kleinert to Park after the water stop)
Water/electrolytes on the median of Kleinert at Drehr.

Rouzan 440s and 220s
4 x 440 on walking path with 440 recovery. Just a cruise pace. No cutdowns.
We’ll have water over at the path and hoping for a cloud cover.
Jog over to the Rouzan Circle. 4 x 220 with 220 recovery.
Cool down.


Magpie May Birthdays Hills
Amy one of the birthday honorees requested Hillsdale Hills for “fun”.
4 x 1/4 up the Cottonwood hill.
Finish the whole loop for recovery.
Cool down by Bet R back to Magpie for the festivities.
Jane or I won’t be there this birthday run. Have a blast on those hills and the parking lot party.



Hillsdale Hills
Again …it’s summer off-season so just run through this to stay strong get the heart rate up a bit. Cruise pace.
2 Mile warm up to Cottonwood Triangle.
880/660/440/220 …finish the loop for recovery.
Cool down short way back by Bet R.

With May Street closing on June 4th we will have modified the Modified Parade Grounds route

Shady Easy/Steady Run from City Park
I was trying to come up with something new and different that stayed shady.
**But study it…familiar streets in different sequence.
Let’s try this out because it becomes unavailable when May Street close.

City Roots 7 Mile
Shady Park Blvd around Campus and back.
Shorten the run with out and back.
Water will be at the LSU sign across from the Ag Center

Magpie New Garden District Steele Loop
Amy requested Garden District or Hillsdale Hills. We decided to save the Hills until here Birthday run on the 28th.

Main Street Market Run
It looks like a mild morning for us to run on the levee so let’s take advantage of that while we can.
6 Miles is down the levee to the water stop and back
Water is under the pines at the Vet School.
You many want to put additional water for yourself at the City Park oak,




Cinco De Mayo at City Park
With all our Tex Mex partners sure to be slammed let’s just do an easy run with a few Mexican beers after.
We had another great bunch of runs at Tiger 5K and 10K. An easy day is what we need.
5 Mile Campus Route that can be shortened with out and back.
Bring a cold Mexican beer or two and we can have a tailgate Cinco De Mayo.
