Long runners/marathoners come early and run steady 2-4 Miles before joining the group at 7:30 for the workout portion.
Follow the route down the levee.
Run easy pace going out. Turn around at 2 for 4 miles and the vet school water stop for 6 Miles.
Try to run faster on the way back by at least 30 seconds.
8 miles with last 3 miles cutting down the pace each mile to the finish.
You get a little bit of a break if you need water at City Park oak. But try to minimize length of the stop to get the most out of the workout..
