Chase Santa through the streets of Zachary and win a special prize if you catch him!This family friendly 5k and 1/2 mile kids run will raise funds for the Zachary Charity League. Race proceeds go towards scholarships, teacher grants and Snack Packs for Kids, which provides healthy snacks over the weekend for children who come from food insecure homes. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served after the race!All runners who register by Dec. 1 will receive a t-shirt. 1/2 mile finishers will receive a toy from Santa’s bag. The 5k is a chip timed event. Finishers will receive a Christmas ornament medal. 5k runners may run the 1/2 mile run for no extra fee. If you catch one of our Santa's by snagging one of the tags attached to him, you get a special prize!The race ends near the Zachary Farmers Market. There will be food trucks, vendors and plenty of Christmas spirit!
