Varsity Sports in collaboration with Club South runners presents The Freedom Mile. This is a series of 1 mile races and includes a parent-child ½ mile fun run. It is a point to point event ending at the Old State Capitol.
7:00 am Onsite registration begins/ Packet Pickuup
8:00 am: Masters/Grandmasters Male/Female
8:20 am: Youth (14 & under) Male/Female
8:40 am: Open Division Women
9:00 am: Open Division Men
9:20 am: Parent/Child 1/2 mile fun run
We have a shuttle bus that runs from finish to start for each event, except the 1/2 mile fun run as that is an out and back course.

Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Grandmasters Male/Female
3 deep each age group Male/Female (5 year increments from 15-70+)
3 deep Male/Female for 8 and under, 9-10 years, 11-12 years, and 13-14 years
Finisher certificate for each child in the 1/2 mile fun run
Varsity Sports Challenge: 1st/2nd/3rd for Varsity Sports employee/family member
