Cutdown 1/4s on Fat Boy 5K Course

  • Highland School Sunset Blvd Baton Rouge, LA, United States (map)

All the runners warm up the playground loop to Fat Boy start.

A Cutdown workout is where each fast interval “cuts down” the time from the previous one. It teaches you not to go out to fast in the beginning of a race or workout. And you must work harder at the end of the workout when you are tired…..good habits for racing.

**if you do go out too fast in first quarter…try to “own it” meaning try to go ahead and cut down from there. It will teach you something one way or the other.
